He talks about being THE ONLY school in South Carolina to ever play in BCS bowl and to win one. He knows how dramatically more difficult it is for the USC Gamecocks to ever do so. After their second hall of fame coach has failed to get the job done, they might as well hang up the cleats.

The SEC is a lot tougher to win in football. The USC fans can be gloating about that as much as they want. It's done little for their chance to win anything. BTW, you can go over to Fayetteville, Arkansas and have the same conversation.

The SEC looks like a great idea with all the good football. Bobby Bowden chose a different path the same year as USC and Arkansas. Bobby Bowden has 2 national championships. The others can't even play in a major bowl.
